烟雨寻春迹，大地纳灵气。又值岁末年初，回首2013，这一年承载着工程机械行业复苏的希冀；这一年见证了企业转型升级、变革创新的尝试。无论坎坷与收获，这一年有太多值得我们深思与总结。
关于2013年工程机械工业整体概况，中国工程机械工业协会副会长从经济指标及产品销量上做了以下分析： 从经济指标上看：延续了去年的收入下降，费用上涨，应收款增加，资金周转困难，利润下滑的态势。 从产品销量上看：众多企业则产品销量企稳回升，成本控制力度加大的同时盈利能力也在逐步增强。副会长强调，若要形成明显稳定的趋势，还需要进一步的成果巩固。我们追随几个关键词再来回顾一下2013工程机械。
兼并收购
兼并收购可以助力企业强强联合、优势互补、合力发展。而海外并购也成为中国工程机械获取零部件关键技术的重要方式。在国内市场持续低迷的情况下，通过收购来发展优势产品、完善产业链、突破创新、赢得海外市场渠道，对于具备条件的企业不失为良策。2013年12月11日，三一重工与帕尔菲格交叉持有10%股权；12月9日，沃尔沃建筑设备公司同意1.6亿美元收购特雷克斯公司的非公路自卸卡车业务；10月31日，柳工机械（波兰）有限责任公司收购位于波兰Stalowa Wola市的ZZN传动件厂；9月10日，中联重科完成对CIFA全资控股；7月1日，三一重工收购普茨迈斯特剩余10%股权，完成100%控股；6月28日，潍柴动力收购世界首屈一指的工业用叉车制造商凯傲。我们期待这些资本运作下的收购在2014年的资源整合、跳跃式研发方面初见成效。
新城镇化建设
城镇化建设似乎是2013年中国工程机械最期盼却又难预料的利好。在2013年召开的十八届三中全会上，会议提出要走新型城镇化道路，落实和完善区域发展规划和政策，增强欠发达地区的发展能力。城镇化建设成为改革的重要组成部分。因而这必然会带来房地产投资和基础建设实施，这从侧面也提升了工程机械行业的前景。新型城镇化的建设对工业设备的需求量会随着城镇化建设的覆盖率而增大，这大大提升了国内工程机械行业的产品销售额。业内人士预计机械行业在即将到来的2014年前景是较好的。不过，企业都明白，一味依赖外部输血不是长计，恢复加强自己的造血功能才是取得可持续发展的根本。
农业工程机械
在机械工业诸多子行业深陷亏损泥潭、挣扎于库存增加应收账款增大的状况下，中国农机行业今年以来却表现突出，收获机械、拖拉机等主要农机产品产销两旺。中国农机流通协会数据显示，今年1～9月，农机行业累计实现销售收入2355亿元，同比增长17.6%，高出全国机械工业销售产值（12.2%）5.4个百分点，不仅跑赢了机械行业这个大盘，而且增幅位居13个机械子行业之首。福田雷沃最早进入农机行业并通过小麦收获机先声夺人；奇瑞重工以闪电般的速度推出了农机系列产品；中联重科、三一重工、徐工集团、吉利集团、北汽集团等工程机械、汽车大鳄都已付出行动进入农机行业。中国农机行业巨大的市场不仅吸引了国内装备制造业大鳄，也受到了约翰迪尔、爱科、久保田、洋马等外资巨头的青睐，他们通过建厂、合资、并购等多种方式在中国安营扎寨，大举进入中国农机市场。2014农业工程机械市场将有更广阔的发展空间。
大国重器

It is the countdown of 2014. Looking back
on 2013, this year carries the hope of recovery in the construction machinery
industry; this year has witnessed the transformation and upgrading of
enterprises as well as the attempt of innovation. Regardless of the ups and downs,
we have much to ponder and summarize on 2013.
About the overview of 2013 construction
machinery industry, vice president of China Construction Machinery Industry
Association, made the analysis, from the economic indicators aspect: the
continuation of the decline in revenue, rising costs, receivables increased,
cash flow difficulties, the trend of falling profits; from the product sales aspect:
many businesses have steady rise of product sales, more efforts on cost control,
and gradually increase profitability. The vice president stressed that, to form
a clear stable trend, further consolidating of achievements is a must. Now let

Mergers
and acquisitions
Mergers and acquisitions can facilitate
companies the powerful combination of complementary advantages. The overseas
mergers and acquisitions have become an important gateway for China
construction machinery to access the key technologies. Under the continued
downturn of the domestic market, it could be a good plan for qualified
enterprises to take advantage of the acquisition to develop superior products,
improve the industrial chain, make breakthroughs, and win overseas market
channels. On December 11, 2013, Sany and Palfinger holds 10% equity interest in
the cross; On December 9, Volvo Construction Equipment Company agreed to $ 160
million acquisition of Terex off-highway dump truck business; On October 31,
Liugong Machinery (Poland) Co. Ltd acquired ZZN transmission Factory in Stalowa
Wola City of Poland; On September 10, Zoomlion wholly owned CIFA; On July 1,
Sany took Putzmeister’s remaining 10% stake and completed 100% holding; On June
28, Weichai Power acquired KION, the world's leading manufacturer of industrial
forklift. We expect these acquisitions will win initial success on resource integration
and research in 2014.
New
Urbanization
Urbanization seems to be one of the most
favorable expectations for 2013 Chinese construction machinery but is difficult
to predict. The Third Plenary of the 18th Party Congress in 2013
convened that China would carry out new urbanization, implement and improve
regional development planning and policies to promote the development in
underdeveloped areas. Urbanization has become an important part of the reform.
So this is bound to bring the real estate investment and infrastructure
implementation, as well as the prospect for construction machinery industry. With
the increasing coverage of urbanization, the construction of new urbanization causes
more demand for industrial equipment, which greatly enhanced the product sales
of domestic construction machinery industry. An industry professional estimated
that the machinery industry in the upcoming 2014 will have good prospect.
However, the enterprises are aware that it is not a long-term solution to
blindly rely on external fillip, but to strengthen the competence of enterprise
itself is fundamental to obtain sustainable development.
Agricultural
Machinery
When many sub-sectors of the machinery
industry trapped in the loss trouble, struggling with rising inventories and receivables,
China agricultural machinery industry has been outstanding in 2013, and harvesting
machinery, tractors and other major agricultural products sell very well. China
Agricultural Machinery Distribution Association data show that from January to
September , agricultural machinery industry realized a total sales revenue of
235.5 billion RMB , an increase of 17.6% , 5.4 percent higher than the national
machinery industry sales value ( 12.2% ). This not only outperformed the
machinery industry market, but the increase ranked first among the 13 mechanical
sub-sectors. Foton Lovol was the first to enter the agricultural sector with
its feature product, the wheat harvester; Chery Heavy launched a series of
agricultural products; Zoomlion, Sany, XCMG, Geely Group, Beijing Automotive
Group and other key players of engineering machinery and automobile have carried
out the plan to enter the agricultural sector. The huge China agricultural
machinery market has attracted not only domestic equipment manufacturers, but
also has John Deere, AGCO, Kubota, Yanmar and other foreign giants set up factories,
joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions to enter China agricultural industry.
2014 agricultural machinery market will have a broader space for development.
